Compact and easy to carry hatchet, ideal for camping, bushcraft and limbing. This model is based on the famous trading axe or belt axe that the French settlers imported into the New World and which will give rise to the famous steel Tomahawk.
Produced in Italy by BR Rinaldi, a family business that has been manufacturing hand-finished axes and semi-industrial tools of great quality and durability since 1780.

- Blade width: 10 cm/3'' 7/8
Handle :

- Without handle
- With the original unfinished ash handle, which you can attach yourself to the axe eye, see the penultimate picture. You can use a file or a shinto knife to do this.
- With the original ash handle, fitted and finished with boiled linseed oil.
- Fitted on an octagonal handle and finished with boiled linseed oil. See last picture.
* The only handle available is the straight handle until further notice (May 2025).
May come with a leather sheath
NB. The actual weight of the head may vary from the marked weight, since it is a semi-industrial forged tool hand finished with a hammer on an anvil.
