Versatile axe with a very wide and rounded cutting edge. Its flared shape gives it a battle axe look. It is a unique model, excellent for felling, pruning, limbing and squaring trunks (hewing) the old-fashioned way.
Produced in Italy by BR Rinaldi, a family business that has been manufacturing hand-finished axes and semi-industrial tools of great quality and durability since 1780.
Features:
-
Very hard and resilient steel: 55si7, 58HRC
-
Actual Head weight: 1450g/ 3.2 lb
- Choose from several handle options, including a new short handle designed for limbing and hewing—new for Summer 2026!
- May come with a natural leather sheath
NB. The actual weight of the head may vary from the marked weight, since it is a semi-industrial forged tool hand finished with a hammer on an anvil.
