A large forestry axe, excellent for felling and bucking on the ground, and also a good option for rough job when hewing timber.
It has a thin blade that bites easily through the bark of green wood.
Produced in Italy by BR Rinaldi, a family business that has been manufacturing hand-finished axes and semi-industrial tools of great quality and durability since 1780.

- Originally designed for a Latin or friction (slip-fit) hanging, but can also be wedged using a Germanic or wedge-fit hanging.
