The Trento #3 is a good size to start with manual and forestry work of all kinds with an axe, neither too small nor too big with a head weighing around 900-950g, it's is an excellent choice for learning about felling, pruning, limbing and squaring trunks (hewing) the old-fashioned way.
Like the other members of the Trento family, it is very versatile and has a wide, rounded edge. Its flared shape gives it a battle axe look.
Produced in Italy by BR Rinaldi, a family business that has been manufacturing hand-finished axes and semi-industrial tools of great quality and durability since 1780.
