Blending Japanese tradition with modern ingenuity, the Shinto saw rasp is made from multiple thin saw blades joined in a crisscross pattern, providing a fast, smooth cut that resists clogging.
Its dual-sided design — coarse on one side and fine on the other — allows precise control from rough shaping to fine finishing.
Ideal for handle fitting and shaping of all kinds of wooden tool handles, it removes material efficiently while leaving a clean, even surface.
The version offered here is 5 cm (2") longer than the standard model usually found online.
