Typical ax from Northern Italy, from the Bergamo region, where the BR Rinaldi forge is located.
Its humped shape makes it an excellent ax for felling trees close to the ground. It is a forestry ax, so it can also be excellent for pruning and limbing.
You have to get used to its particular shape, but to try it is to adopt it!
Produced in Italy by BR Rinaldi, a family business that has been manufacturing hand-finished axes and semi-industrial tools of great quality and durability since 1780.
