DELUXE Belgian Blue Coticule sharpening stone 200X60 mm with a beech wood base
Product Details
Marque: Belgischer brocken
Weight: 1.20 kg
It is the best natural stone in the world, Belgian Blue Coticule has a grain of 6000 and is composed of approximately 35 to 40% of small crystals of spessartine garnet which gives it this “razor” stone property.
The Pyrenees stone is used for initial sharpening to remove any burrs while the coticule sharpens with finesse and polishes the blade. Water or saliva should be applied to the sides of the stone before using it.
This stone measures 200 x 60 mm (7.8'' x 2.3'') and comes with a beech base to support it and hold it in place. It is a high quality stone for chef's knives.
It comes with a certificate of authenticity from the manufacturer & a cardboard box to store it.
Inspired by Finnish tradition, the Joker Puukko "Grandfather" is a compact and elegant knife, with a curly birch handle that gives it a unique and distinguished character.
This small slurry stone which measures 40 x 40 mm (1.5'' x 1.5'') is particularly useful for bringing out the dye (slurry) of another larger blue Coticule. You simply have to rub it circularly on the other stone and the mud will form in no time.
